Why do many people people feel the need to learn to trade Forex? And why do the numbers keep increasing every day? This article sets out just some of the reasons for this phenomenon.
There’s no doubt that as the recession and depression starts to bite, there is more and more uncertainty in the air everywhere. All over the Western world we are repeatedly exposed to a media, telling us that we need to ‘tighten our belts’ because governments world-wide are all reiterating the same message; ‘cuts, cuts, cuts, cuts, cuts, cuts’.
Thousands of jobs are disappearing, and the forecasts are of doom and gloom for all sections of industry. Management, white or blue collar, it makes no difference. We are told the banks won’t lend, and nothing can be done except to shrink or cut everything drastically.
When people like our airline pilots learn to trade Forex because they feel so uncertain about their future, is it any wonder that the rest of the population now feel the same way?
All this is perfectly understandable – but why pick Forex (the foreign currency exchange market)?
The short answer is because it is a way of earning money – earning a living – that is unaffected by these world affairs. In other words it is recession-proof.
